Under the motto Scientia et Labor ( Knowledge and work ), the School of Engineering of Federal University of Minas Gerais, a centenary institution, has been fulfilling his mission.
Recognize worldwide for its excellence in scientific and technological research, teaching and extension, holds 330 highly qualified professors , 160 specialized staffs and 8000 students ( undergraduate, graduate, extension and specialization ).
Until 2013, more than 31.000 students have completed their undergraduate, speacialization, Masters or PhD´s programs at School of Engineering of Federal University of Minas Gerais.
Currently, there are more than 60 research lines and 300 extension projects ongoing.
